The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) holds regular Policy, Planning and Performance and Joint Independent Audit Committee meeting's in public.
Policy, Planning and Performance Meeting
The PCC holds Policy, Planning and Performance meetings that are open to the public to attend every quarter at Thames Valley Police Headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
The meeting is attended by the PCC, Chief Constable John Campbell and relevant senior staff from both the Office of the PCC and Thames Valley Police and is an opportunity for the the PCC to publically hold the Chief Constable to account.
Normal agenda items include a detailed look at financial plans and spending including capital and revenue, Thames Valley Police performance, estate management and any other topics that may have arisen over the previous months.
Joint Independent Audit Committee
The Joint Independent Audit Committee (JIAC) provides independent assurance to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and Chief Constable regarding the adequacy of the risk management framework and the associated control environment within Thames Valley Police and the Office of the PCC. The meetings are held every quarter and are open to the public.
