In an Emergency - call 999
Always dial 999 when:
- a crime is in progress
- a life is in danger or there is a risk of injury
- an offender is still at the scene or has just left
Non-emergencies - dial 101
To report a crime or incident that is not an emergency or to make a general enquiry to Thames Valley Police call 101.
Calls to the 101 non–emergency number, from both landlines and mobiles, cost 15 pence per call no matter what time of day you call, or how long you are on the phone.
