Financial Regulations
Financial Regulations are an important part of the Police and Crime Commissioner's (PCC) overall corporate governance arrangements. They set out the duties, rights and powers of the PCC, Chief Constable and their respective Chief Finance Officers, and provide clarity about the financial accountabilities of groups or individuals.
The financial regulations apply to every member and officer of the service and anyone acting on its behalf.
The document covers the following areas:
- Financial management
- Financial planning
- Management of risk and resources
- Systems and procedures
- Contract regulations
- External arrangements
- Delegated financial limits
The Financial Regulations document has been incorporated into the Joint Corporate Governance Framework 2020-21.
