Milton Keynes Visit
Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Anthony Stansfeld, has spent two days in Milton Keynes getting to know the area and meeting partner organisations.
The PCC spent Tuesday (05/02) and Wednesday (06/02) in the town and met with the Local Policing Area Commander Barry Halliday to hear more about policing in Milton Keynes. He also got a chance to go out with officers to patrol around the Fishermead estate and the rural areas north of Milton Keynes.
Anthony Stansfeld said: "I was delighted to get a chance to see more of Milton Keynes and speak to local police. Milton Keynes is a fast growing, vibrant town and one of the biggest urban areas in Thames Valley as well as containing large amounts of countryside. This mixture of urban and rural can be challenging to police, but I was most impressed with what I saw and I hope to visit again soon."
