NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION OF THE AUDIT

 

 PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under Regulation 11 of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011, Ernst & Young LLP, as appointed auditors, have completed the audit of the accounts of both the Police & Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley and the Chief Constable for Thames Valley, for the year ended 31st March 2015.

 An unqualified opinion for both sets of accounts was issued by Ernst & Young LLP on the 18th September 2015. On the same date Ernst & Young LLP also issued an unqualified conclusion on both the Police & Crime Commissioner for ThamesValley and the Chief Constable for ThamesValley's arrangements for securing value for money as required by the Audit Commission's Code of Practice. The closing certificate issued on the 18th September following the completion of the Whole of Government Accounts (WGA) work.

Alternatively, copies of the accounts may be inspected during the hours of 10am to 4pm, by appointment, at the address below. This right is conferred on local government electors by Section 14 of the Audit Commission Act 1998.
