Have Your Say on Policing and Crime
Police and Crime Commissioner Launches Online Survey
The Police and Crime Commissioner Anthony Stansfeld is seeking the public’s views on policing and crime to help inform his next five year Police and Crime Plan.
The next Police and Crime Plan is due to be published before March 2017 and the views of local communities across the Thames Valley are being sought through an online survey.
The survey is hosted on the PCC website www.thamesvalley-pcc/survey and in addition, members of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner are attending events across the Thames Valley to carry out the survey with local communities face to face.
Police and Crime Commissioner, Anthony Stansfeld said ‘An important part of my role as PCC is to engage with local communities. This survey gives people the opportunity to tell us what is important to them where they live. Their response can help shape the direction of the next Police and Crime Plan and I encourage anyone living or working in the Thames Valley to complete it.’
The survey will also seek feedback from victims of crime to help improve the victim’s experience; from reporting a crime, their experience in court and the support available to them to help them recover from the crime.
The survey can be found at www.thamesvalley-pcc.gov.uk/survey and will be open until 30 September 2016.
