What does the Emotional Support Service provide?

The Victims First Hub receives referrals directly from Thames Valley Police, victims and other agencies and assess the needs of the victim. If the victim does need additional support then the Hub will refer on to the Local Support Service or to more specialist services.

The Emotional Support Service will help any victim of crime that requires additional help and are outisde of the referral criteria for support through our other specialist services. This support can involve practical help, for example, assistance with completing forms, fixing broken windows or help through the Criminal Justice System or more indepth emotional support where somone can be with you to listen and give feedback.
