The Victim's First Specialist Counselling Service forms part of the Police and Crime Commissioner's (PCC) work to create new support services for victims of crime in the Thames Valley.
The Service has been developed by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and aims to coordinate and improve access to psychotherapeutic counselling for victims of crime, to increase the pool of appropriate counsellors and to reduce barriers for those requiring counselling.
Apply to be an Approved Counsellor
The Victim's First Specialist Counselling Service is currently seeking appropriately trained counsellors who have evidenced experience, knowledge and expertise to support individuals who have been adversely impacted by an experience of crime, regardless of whether or not it has been reported to the police.
